Recently, Intel has angered netizens again. Many people said that they would boycott Intel and no longer use Intel CPUs. Instead, they would use domestically-made CPUs to replace Intel and make Intel cry.

So the question is, there are currently six domestically-made CPUs in China. If Intel is not used, which domestically-made CPUs can replace Intel and come up with it?

First of all, let me talk about the CPUs of these 6 major countries, namely Huawei Kunpeng, Feiteng CPU, Haiguang CPU, Loongson, Zhaoxin, and Shenwei.

Among them, Huawei Kunpeng and Feiteng CPUs use ARM architecture, Loongson uses MIPS architecture, Zhaoxin and Haiguang CPUs use X86 architecture, and Shenwei uses Alpha architecture.

Let me talk about the Kunpeng and Feiteng CPUs that use the ARM architecture. Because they use the ARM architecture, they cannot install windows. In addition, due to the ARM architecture, they are not suitable for personal PCs. They are also mainly used for servers. To a certain extent In terms of, it can only partially replace intel’s server chips.

Let’s talk about Loongson. Loongson adopts MIPS architecture and cannot install windows. The latest Loongson chip 3A5000 series can only be compared with the i3 series of Intel desktop chips three years ago.

The same Shenwei is also used for servers, but also because of the alpha architecture, it cannot be installed with windows, and it is also difficult to use in the personal PC field. It can only partially replace intel’s server chips and supercomputer chips.

Finally, let’s talk about Haiguang CPU and Zhaoxin. These two CPUs use the X86 architecture. The biggest advantage is that they can install windows to meet everyone’s requirements for windows ecology. They are more suitable for personal consumer PC products.

However, Haiguang CPU is mainly used for servers, Zhaoxin can be used for personal PCs, but in terms of performance, compared with intel, it is basically about 3-5 years behind. The mainstream desktops and notebooks are still quite few. .
